Mary Lee Settle collection, [ca. 1984-1987]

The collection consists of papers of Mary Lee Settle from ca. 1984-1987. The papers include typescripts and galley proofs of some of her writings, correspondence from Settle to Tom Jenks of Esquire magazine regarding her writings and the craft of writing, and a small group of photographs. Of particular interest are two corrected typescripts for a travel piece on Hong Kong, a letter to Jenks regarding the piece, and corrected typescripts of stories which were later incorporated in her novel, CELEBRATION.
